Tangaer Je T'aime 'Doris'

Doris came from Linda Lewis, of Tangaer PBGV and Irish Setter Kennels in South Wales and is the hunter of our small band.

Birds, rabbits and squirrels are her passion. The ability of a scent hound to turn immediately deaf on picking up the trail of prey is a trait that is welcomed by the hunter but not the owner on a walk ! It is however wonderful to watch if you know there are no obvious dangers ie traffic or stock. The way that she works the woods in full voice is a great sight.

Doris has also done well for Gemma in the show ring over the years which is very rewarding for a breed that can sometimes be challenging. You have to have a highly developed sense of humour to own a PBGV.
